We are situated in one of the quietest parts of the Norfolk Broads National Park, one one-hour motor to Horsey Mere and a wind pump with the National Trust tea room.
20-minute motor to Potter Heigham, with fish and chip shop, Bridge Stores with take-a-way drinks, ice cream, and sandwiches.
Hickling Broad is also one one-hour motorway away from our boatyard with the Pleasure Boat Inn.
One and a half hours motor from The Lion at Thurne.

Approaching Norwich take the A47 (Norwich southern bypass) towards Great Yarmouth, continue to Acle, then take the A1064 at the roundabout towards Martham.
After about 1.7 miles Turn LEFT on the B1152 (Signposted Martham).
After a further 1.7 miles turn RIGHT (Signposted Martham) this brings you to an offset crossroads, proceed ‘straight’ across (Signposted Martham).
Continue into the village ignore the signpost to the Staith and Boatyard and continue into the village, immediatly past the pedestrian crossing turn LEFT onto Staith Road and LEFT again after about half a mile onto Ferrygate Lane, follow the road round until you reach the river and Martham Ferry Boat Yard
